One of my all-time favourites in the recycling department, was turning a number of old cloth diapers into household wipers and cleaning cloths. So thrifty and enviro-friendly!

My latest favorite is to make terry cloth apron bottoms with pretty bib tops from old towels and sheet ruffles.

I cut up old t-shirts into hankies (about 15x15). I also use some of the bottom hems (leave a little wider) and cut them long enough to use as a sweat band when doing yard work (tie in back)

Plastic bags (Ziploc) on the clothesline as we speak! Hand-washed, rinsed, then pinned up on the outdoor line to dry!

Saving peels, coffee grinds & eggshells

Never stops amazing me what pops up after making a smoothie and pureeing the scraps mixed with peels and adding water. Add coffee grinds & egg shells around the trees too.
Feed it to my fruit trees in a circle and let it dry. Turn it over a few times and let the process begin. So far I have healthy looking watermelon plants growing and my papaya tree is sprouting new branches. Do the same with vegetables too. Have spaghetti squash
growing in a flower pot from seeds I saved.
