BLT Dip

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1 1/2 cups sour cream
    1/2 tsp each garlic powder & onion powder
    2 cups arugula, chopped and stems removed
    18 slices cooked bacon, cooled and crumbled
    4 tomatoes, diced fine

    Combine the first four ingredients, cover and chill at least 5 hours, up to 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour ahead of serving time and right before serving stir in arugula, bacon and tomatoes. Serve with breadsticks or melba toast.

    This would be great with cucumber slices, celery, carrot sticks or even cheese sticks instead of the bread or crackers.
