Crabmeat Dip



as posted in the March What's for Dinner? thread.

Crabmeat Dip

1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 stalks celery, minced
1 can sliced mushrooms ( I use 8 oz. fresh
-------mushrooms)
1 stick oleo
1 medium onion, minced
1 lb. fresh crabmeat
Tabasco Sauce or Cayenne pepper, to taste
1 tablesppon Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper to taste

Melt oleo and saute' onions, celery and
mushrooms until tender. Add cream cheese.
When cheese is melted, add soup. Blend
well and heat thoroughly. Do NOT boil.
Hand-sift crabmeat into mixture. Serve hot
with melba rounds.

Superb Crab Dip

Superb Crab Dip

1 lb. crab meat (backfin or lump)
2 8oz. packages of cream cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. confectioners sugar
1 cup mayonnaise
grated cheddar cheese for topping

Mix all ingredients except the crab. Gently fold in crab. Microwave until heated. Top with grated cheese and microwave just long enough to melt. Serve with crackers or toasted french bread.

Crab Dip

1 7 1/2 oz can crab meat, drained 7 flaked
1 hard boiled egg, chopped
1/2 cup fat free mayonnasie
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Combine all ingredients and chill at least
2 hours to combine flavors.
Great on crackers!

Crab Salad

1/2 lb crab meat
1/2 onion (sweet is really good)
Mayo or ff mayo to as much moisture as you like

DH is happy at this point but sometimes I add
small chopped celery and then salt and pepper
as desired.

Very easy and let chill.
