Question Do you take vitamins and suppliments ?

Everyday I take a multivitamin, a combo pill of calcium, magnesium & zinc, a B-combo vitamin & a vitamin C tablet. I also take an iron pill but I have really low levels.

I think they have seemed to help me in the energy dept. at the very least.

Im thinking of adding Vit. E too the list.

Anyone else take things like this ?

I used to take them everyday, then I had stopped. I really should start up again.

Maybe I will head to the store later today.

I take a mulitivitamin every day

It hasnt seemed to help with energy but I have restless leg syndrome and it has really helped with that...

there are soooo many vitamins and pills out there that I just dont know what to take! I am hoping that the multivitamin is giving me everything that I need

Sherbear,
Welcome back, have not seen on the boards in forever!

Right now I am 8 1/2 months pregant so I am on a prenatal vitamin which I think gives every possible thing a woman needs! Since I plan on nursing I think the dr will have me on them another year but after that I wouldnt mind trying the One a Day, its a vitamin thats been around for a long time so I would assume a decent one. I once saw a special on tv they were showing how some vitamins people take never even break up and dissolve they just come out with your you know what! People are being ripped off that way all the time!

My body feels weird if I don't take vitamins for awhile, just kind of sluggish. Been thinking of taking vit e, only take a multi now but I'll ask the Dr. first.

Just read in dh's health mag that if your vitamin disolves in vinegar within 1/2 hour it is good, otherwise it may be full of junk. Don't know if this applies to multi's or all others.
I tried centrum, it broke down in 10 min or so.

I do take lots of different supplements as my health needs. I have neuropathy in my feet (almost sure it's from a Vit. B deficiency) so I take Vit. B12 and it helps tremndously which is why I'm sure it's a deficiency causing it.

An excellent source of high quality and good priced supplements is www.puritanspride.com . They frequently have Buy 1 Get 2 free sales!

I take a multivitamin, a 500 mg of VItamin C, and 2 400 I.U. of vitamin E. I do feel much better now that I have been taking them everyday for several weeks.

I have started taking a multivitamin every day....the doctor says that I am anemic so I take a multi with iron and also an iron supplement. I've also added a Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc supplement but that thing is HUGE and really hard to swallow. I wish they'd coat these things and make them smaller

Wish there were a resource around where I could find out exactly what I should be taking and what vitamin would fill in those blanks!
