Chocolate Sundae Pie

    Chocolate Sundae Pie

    l package sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
    1/3 cup non-fat dry milk powder
    1 cup skim milk
    1 cup Cool Whip Lite
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 ready made chocolate flavored pie crust
    2 tsp. chocolate syrup (lite) (or use sugar free--also good)
    4 Maraschino cherries, halved for garnish

    In a large bowl, combine first two ingredients. Add skim milk powder and mix well using a wire wisk. Blend in 1/2 cup Cool Whip lite and vanilla extract. Pour mixture into pie crust and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Spread remaining Cool Whip over set filling. Drizzle chocolate syrup over top and garnish with cherry halves. Cover and freeze. Remove 30 minutes or longer before serving. Serves 8
