DANGIT!!!!!
Only the one curtain worked. All the others pulled apart. I don't think the fabric of these sheers is heavy enough for the fusible web to "grab" onto...

Back to the drawing board. Someone suggested "liquid stitch" so I may look into that.

Gave up on the idea of altering those curtains. I got a new set of sheers in the right length. Now I just have to re-hang the hardware so it's a little lower. I put the ones that are too long in my bedroom, and got tie-backs to hold them up. I still have to install the tie-backs. I replaced 14-year-old dust-catching "balloon" valances in theire, and it looks much nicer and brighter. DH even liked it. So it's all good
