Hanging Picture Tip...

I just got this in an email and thought it was an excellent idea.

If you want to save money on spackle, here is the way to hang a
grouping of pictures.

Trace around each picture on a piece of paper. Using light
masking tape, place these pieces of paper (which are the size of
your pictures) on the wall.

Play with them until you find an arrangement that works. However-
the key to success is to live with it for a few days. Over half
the time you are going to find you don't like the arrangement.
Then it is an easy matter to move them around and try again.

When you are sure of the placement, put the nails in the wall and
hang the pictures.

Thank you for the tip. Taking it a step farther I'm going to remove the pictures from the frames. Will put a small piece of double back tape to the back of each picture and "stick" them to the wall. Will just have to remember to check for the studs when "sticking" the pictures to the wall. I also like to write names, locations, dates, etc. on the lower back of each picture for future generations.
