Decorating with Vintage Signs

I recently received several "vintage look-alike" signs for my kitchen. They are for products like Hershey's chocolate, Welch's grape juice, etc.
They are metal, with a hole in each corner for hanging, about 9X12 or so. Not all the same size, and some are wider, others are taller.
I have 2 walls in the kitchen where I can use these signs. Before I start pounding nails in the wall, I want to make a plan of how to arrange these. I've never been good at hanging groups of pictures for a nice effect. Any suggestions?

This is what I do, get a roll of paper, like freezer paper, measure it out so that it is the same size as your wall. You may need to tape two pieces together so it is the same height. Lay it one the floor then place your signs on it, trace around them with a pencil. Then hold it up and look at it.

Thanks for the help!

I placed the signs on my kitchen table and arranged them until I had them the way I liked them. Then I MEASURED, and used a LEVEL, and got them all straight and evenly spaced on the wall! It looks great. I put 5 of the signs up. The others didn't fit, and I didn't like one of them anyway. So I used the 5 best.

Now I am just putting up the other stuff I took off that wall, someplace else! That's all stuff I love and want to keep in the kitchen.
