Sorry ladies but ours has a curtain...and this house was built in the 1950's...Maybe it is something that most bathrooms here have a curtain and not a door...I would rather have a shower door than a curtain...come to think of it I would rather have a bigger bathroom but hubby won't let me knock down the one wall to make it bigger...lol...

I have never in my life lived in a house with a curtain instead of a door and I'm pushing 41.
OK thanks I was just curious LOL, it does get the better of me sometimes.
Hi Lynne and Meg I'm glad you popped in to confirm my curiosity.

Hi, I'm from England living in a 1950's house with the original bathroom. We don't have space for a separate shower tray, so have a shower above the bath with a shower curtain. You can get shower screens but they are more expensive, when we re-do our bathroom I am tempted to get one as I get fed up with having the shower curtain wrap around me!

What I've seen, is that where people have space for a separate shower tray they have shower doors.

I hate to say this but even the baths that have showers over them, to my knowledge here have doors, those 3 slide panel ones LOL. My Aunty, and my mum have those.
I'm not asying curtains arent' used, but just that they are less common
