I have seen members here at FC who swear by those "dryer balls." Never tried them myself.

Someone also suggested making a foil ball from tinfoil and using that in the dryer to reduce static. I tried that but it didn't work for me.

I use the dryer balls. I don't know how much I am impressed with them. I do know my clothes dry faster.

I use vinager or cheap fabric softener in the washer. Depends on my mood.

Haha - Bluebird - so your mood determines vinegar or fabric softener? Maybe that should be a poll on FC - whats your mood today?

a. Vinegar
b. Fabric softener
c. dryer balls
d. soap in a sock

LOL

My mood today is "dryer balls" - as in you better hope I don't hit DH in the head with one. He never empties tissues out of his pockets and of course I missed one in the last load I washed. Shredded tissues everywhere! Argh!!
