Daycare crafts

Hello Ladies:

I to have a day care in my home. I currently have 5 daycare kids and I have twin 6 year old boys but there is only 1 of them here at a time because they go to kindergarten on opposite days. I am working on the alphabet with my daycare kids. We do a letter a week. We do the same letter that my boys are doing in school so that I can work with them at the same time. What I need to know is do any of you have any craft ideas for the letters V,X,and Y my kids ages are from 2-4 so the crafts have to be easy enough for them. Thank you

Tammy

Something I like to do here with the kids is potatoe prints with letters too. You could easily carve V, Y or X into a potatoe and have the kids make paint prints on a cut out V,X or Y. Just a thought.

The sites mentioned are great, dltk for kids and first school. There is another site called preschool printables, preschoolprintables.com.

I teach a 2 year old class in a day care center and had a licened day care home in the past. Please remember that the attention span of most 2 year olds is only 15 to 20 minutes if that long (just 2 or 2 plus years ). Also most 2 year olds require more than a week to learn, colors, shapes, etc.

Use your search engine to locate toddler activities and preschool activities.

Good luck
