Easy to Make Menu Board For Christmas Gifts

I purchased a craft item last week at a yard sale, the lady had several styles. She said she had sold them at a craft show for $15 each but sold me mine for $7. She said she got the idea from Pinterest.

For the Home / Wipe Off Weekly Menu Board | Make and Takes

You simply get a sheet of scrap book paper, your choice of design put it in a picture frame that has a attachment on the back for hanging or standing alone. She attached magnets to the one I bought to hang on the fridge but I'd be afraid with opening and shutting the fridge door that it would jar loose, fall and break. You use erasable markers to write your weeks menu on the glass of the picture frame. While mine is lovely, it looks like a chalk board with faded wood around the edges, the color isn't practical as you can't see very good the marker colors. I'd go with a lighter color of scrapbook paper, you could also find a nice "tack" paper cut it to size if you have some hanging around the house. I'd say total investment would be around $5 or less. Oh my erasable marker is one that comes with a magnet to hang on the fridge door.

These could also be good for a craft show or fundraiser. Have fun with it! For the letters, she used assorted scrapbooking letters too for the initials of the day of the week and larger ones to spell out Menu.

You are welcome.. glad I was able to help.

I'm going to try making a large one. We found today that my mom can see very large letters. She has macular degeneration and is almost totally deaf. I get tired of yelling so she can hear and if I can make one of these large enough to accomadate the larger words it will be great. thani you, thank you soooo much
