clever idea using a cd spindle

turned a CD spindle (you know the things your blank CD's or DVD's come on) into an afternoon tea keeper:

Could use it to almost display any kind of food...I was thinking mini cupcakes...then I also got to thinking it would make a nice display for one of those mini garden fairy scenes...

I have been seeing these popping up...mostly in plant pots...so why not so a mini on that can be used all of the time...
