Amanda, I agree this is one idea that I have gotten many uses out of. I taught a group of adults at our library how to make these fun little boxes and they loved it. Some of them were going to use them as graduation cards for special graduates. The example I made for the class was made in Dd2's school colors along with some musical scrapbook paper for the lid. I made a mini scrapbook of her year in band.
Thanks again to Deb for sharing such a fun idea.

Do you have a picture of the one you made? I'd love to see it

I think I will make one sans the photos for a wedding gift. They can put the photos in themselves.

12 x 12 paper

Cute project. But where do you find paper that size? I have looked all over.

Thanks

Hi there and welcome to Family corner...You can find 12 X12 paper at any scrapbook store...WalMart here in Canada carries it, and many craft stores like Michaels. I have even found some at the dollar store.

hope you can find some...it is a fun project to make

hugs debbie

Happy face

Thank you.

I have tried two of the walmarts (a regular and a supercenter) near me and they don't carry it. I have not tried Michaels. There is one about 30 miles give or take a few miles, from me. I will try there when I get that way again. Thank you very much for the reply.

You are welcome...If you are in the states I think Joannes carries scrapbook stuff also. I also have ordered online before or through e-bay...I am always on the lookout for a good deal
