Step 8 Glue the cut sides of the paper(sides) into the box to finish and hold the sides in place.

Step 9 Gather up all the edges of the bottom and place the top on it.

Step 10 Embellish or decorate any way you want.

Debbie, You are so talented with scapbooking! I love to look at pictures of your work.

Have you thought about selling these? I bet that they would go over big time!

Tami thanks for your compliments......I am glad you enjoy them. I am a very simple scrapper but the main thing is I enjoy doing it. I think if I was to sell any of my work it might take the fun out of it for now and these are so easy to make anyone could do it!!!

Joy i hope you can understand the instructions...they are very easy once you have made one. If you need clarifiction on anything just ask.

These make great gifts for teachers at the end of the school year, a baby shower, a wediing shower, grandparents etc. You can have so much fun with all the fun papers and embellishments out now.

Hugs Debbie

Thumbs up

Debbie - Thanks for the directions. I cut & pasted it into my project file.

I made a different version that was on DIY tv for my Dad's 80th b-day & he carried around to show everyone. He loves puzzles so it was right up his alley.

Thanks again - Pippe

Debbie--Just e-mailed DD1 (Paige) and am having her check the school book store for 12x12 with her college logo on it. I am hoping to make 3 of these exploding boxes for her to give her roommate and the two girls in the room next door who have all become good friends. I thought it would be a fun way for them to remember their freshman year together. Thanks again

Deb--I made 4 boxes last weekend. It was fun and easy. I made them for Paige, her room mate and the two girls in the next room as a rememberance of their first year of college. I use their school color and put in a white sheet in the middle. I left the white squares blank for each of them to write a note to each other on.
I will definitely be making more of these and think I might use this idea for an adult craft day at the Library this fall.
Thanks again for the good instructions.
