Your jar just looks so Yummy! Now you need to use a strawberry scented candle....I wonder if you could just put a few drops of strawberry fragrance oil on the candle???

Are you making alot of jars for Christmas? It would be a great gift!

Wish we were neighbors...I could learn so much from you! You are so cool!!!!!

Amanda, Your jars are just beautiful !! I can tell by looking at them that you really put your heart into each one and dont treat them like a production line.....truly Amanda's originals!

Sooo.....which one is your favorite? I cant pick just one, I like so many of them.

Pick a favorite?!?! Hmmm, well I guess if I really had to choose a fave, it would be a tie between the grape wine bottle above and the Cape Haterras Lighthouse here

I did my first attempt at painting roses tonight but it wasn't on a jar. So I posted it in the decorative painting forum here if anyone wants to look!

craft show jars

I was at a craft show last week and a lady had the painted jars but she had put lights in them. Somehow she had drilled a little hole in the side at the bottom and had inserted white string lights. She had all sizes and shapes-some looked like old glass ketchup bottles, pop bottles and a lot of others.. A few with lighthouses on them which is what I collect. Most of them had a narrow top. She did a great job on all of them. Some had a form of a white tinsel in amongst the lights. Not sure excactly what that was. Would have to make sure it could take the heat the lights give off.

Cool Valerie, I bet those were so pretty! I just asked DH how you would drill a hole in glass, he told me you would need a diamond cut drill bit.

Here's my daughter's Spongebob jar she has been bugging me to finish for like 3 months! I finally sat down and did it tonight.
