Here's a ghost vase I made from a salad dressing bottle, maybe silk leaves or something else in here??

Amanda - Your penguin is so darling. I would love to have it to give my dd, she has collected penguins since in high school. she would dearly love this little guy. I'm sure some one will grab it up quick when you put him up on your site.

what is the bottle you used for him?

I like the pumpkin and the ghost too. Yes fall leaves would look great in both. I would never have thought to use a salad bottle but I really like the shape.

It is fun to watch you as you get ideas and put them into action. Looking forward to the next ones. ;-)

The bottle is actually from a malt beverage called Diablo, similar to Bicardi Silver or Smirnoff Ice. They have a great shape don't they??

Amanda , I love your Penguin too! It is just adorable! Do you show your creations at craft shows? I have never seen any of these up North???

Have you seen the small Starbucks frappuccino bottles? They are about 5-6 inches tall. You could make baby versions of your creations!

Janet, I actually haven't been to any craft shows yet. That's a whole new thing for me. I thought of something tonight when I went out to dinner with hubby. I could make candle jars for restaurants to put in the center of their tables. Problem is, my candles are on top instead of inside the jars, which obviously is not good if someone reaches across to get the pepper and gets burnt.

So I would need to find a votive holder that would fit inside, or pick a different kind of jar. It was a fun thought

I have a few new designs on the burner. Plus I just bought some silk flowers, fall leaves, and berries today. I'm going to put some in a couple of the salad dressing and smaller bottles as vases and take new pics. They look so much better with something in them.
