You could try calling Good Scents in Rural Washington. They tend to have everything from candle making and soap making supplies as well as typical craft supplies like the foam forms. I recall seeing the hearts there. They would ship it to you too.
Phone number is (509)522-6666 I don't know what their 800 number is or I'd share that instead.

If there is a home building supply center in your area you could get a sheet of styrofoam and cut and shape it until you get what you are looking for. Around here an 4'x8' sheet ruuns under $10.00 you could get all kinds of forms that way

Pinkie Winky Styro Hearts

otheila,

Your idea is something that has been in the back of my mind right from the beginning. Everytime I run into a craft shop to look for the hearts I have also been watching for large styrofoam sheets, hoping to do just what you suggest. Unfortunately the sheets are not wide enough, but I never thought of Home Depot or places like that. Thank you so much. I am in love with this idea and I will run over there today and see what I can find!

Thanks also to everyone who posted here. Your ideas have been super and I will keep them all in mind. I will definitely remember the cemetary idea and I've jotted down the phone number for Good Scents. I'm also going to try and get my daughter to check out the Ben Franklin in Traverse City.

Glad the idea helped you some. That's what we do at my house when a bunch of us get together and have a craft night. Kick dh out all the girls come over and we do all kinds of different crafts.
We buy a large sheet then we can cut into different shapes & sizes. It can get messy cutting it. I usually do it with the jig saw. And everyones happy... and is alot cheaper then everone going and buying seperate.

chuckle EUREKA!

Just got back from Home Depot and YES, they have large sheets of 2" thick styrofoam. I don't need the whole thing for this project but I'm sure I will find use for the leftovers. And it was under $10.00. I'm so excited. DH says he will use a coping saw to cut the styrofoam. They had those too.

Thanks so much!

Digi

Yes, I have a digi. I'm not sure when I will actually begin this craft. It may be a few weeks from now. But I will be sure and post a photo when I'm done.

Thanks everyone.
