The other one we did today was "Stiff-A-Craft". This is something you can easily buy in a spray can (starch or other related item), but it was fun for Kristen (age 10) and I to do this.

This was extremely messy! LOL Kristen and I had this slop everywhere, but we had a great time It wasn't too bad to clean up in the end, it's just a very sloppy craft. We decided to do the balloon molds, where you dip colored string into the mixture and wrap it around balloons, then in a day or two when it's completely dry, you pop the balloons and carefully remove them from inside the "structures" you have created. I just realized, it said to put petroleum jelly on the balloons and I forgot! Yikes, hope they come out ok and we can get the balloons out!

Here's a couple of pictures of this project, again I will share the end result when they are done

Too bad we missed this one! DD, 12yo, fractured her wrist on Friday, so I am only now (Monday) catching up on my reading! That International Date line has a lot to answer for as well. Sounds like you're having lots of fun. If you are able to post any of the recipes on site, that would be great too. I realise this might not work b/c copyright!

Happy crafting!

Hi Pam, I'm sorry! But we already have all the testers we need. But I'm sure there will be more opportunities in the future, so stay tuned!

I homeschool 3 of my kids, grades 3, 5 & 6- We'd love to try a project! We can use it for art activity! If you can send a recipe using "around the house" stuff, that would be great! (I'm trying to teach them fun ways to use every day stuff this quarter.) This sounds like loads of fun!

I would love to participate. I have a 7 year old and infants, so if you have something that requires an older child that would be great, otherwise he'd do any of them.
