Recyled Cutting Boards
I found a couple of "paddle type" cutting boards at a thrift store and brought them home. They were in fairly good shape (I've later found them at a dollar store for $1.00). Anyways, I spray painted them, then used a wax type varnish so they are shiny. I painted one red, one navy blue. My next step will be to use those Rub On Transfers... I have some in farming type pictures and put a piece of rope through the handle. You could paint Home Is Where The Heart Is, Your state's name, a person's name. There are no limits. Wish I had a digital camera to show what they look like but I'm always thinking outside the box when it comes to recycling.
