Candy, I like that rose!! I've never tried making flowers with crepe paper.

I made some place mats & coasters for Memorial Day.. I need to get a picture of them. I just printed a picture on card stock & laminated them.

Here is one of the placemats & coasters I made for Memorial Day. I forgot to change the date on the camera, so it's showing the wrong date. I know these aren't very original. I printed the flag from a graphic I found on line & then printed it out on card stock & laminated it. For the coaster, I pasted some stars on a small piece of cardstock & then laminated it.

I might be a little early in posting the themes for June, but I thought we could have a little time to think about what we want to do.

Themes for June are

Father's Day
Wedding
Graduation

Green Queen, glad to see you back.

Minny, nice place mats. Good job.

Candy, I think you can come up with an idea for black and red flowers.
Talking about flowers, I bought some black petunias yesterday and some that were black and yellow.

Thanks Seleach. I have to get another foam wreath form ..I managed to break the one I had & didn't get to make my wreath. I would need to get more flowers too to make it look right.

My grandmother used to make all kinds of flowers with crepe paper and put them on may baskets that she made from old cigar boxes. You don't see or hear of May baskets today. Her's were so beautiful, they sold them in the 5 and .10 store back in the 50's
