CookEatShare Thanksgiving Contest--win a KitchenAid prize!

COOKEATSHARE.COM IS READY TO TALK TURKEY
AS MEMBERS HAVE THE CHANCE TO PUT THEIR BEST RECIPES FORWARD

CookEatShare.com and KitchenAid invite members to take part in
the first annual Thanksgiving Recipe Contest

From the perfect cranberry sauce to the most delicious pumpkin pie, it seems almost everyone has that one special dish that says “Thanksgiving”. Now, CookEatShare.com—a new social networking site for foodies and professional chefs alike—is giving its members a chance to put those recipes to the test for the chance to win one of several must-have prizes from KitchenAid in the first annual Thanksgiving Recipe Contest.
Starting in early October, visitors to CookEatShare.com are invited to submit what they think are their most winning Thanksgiving recipes to be voted on by other members of the CookEatShare community, which include some of the area’s top chefs like Nate Appleman, Robbie Lewis, Joanne Weir, and Craig Stoll. “CookEatShare.com is unique in that it provides a community where home cooks can interact with professional chefs,” says CookEatShare.com founder Mihir Shah. “We thought that since Thanksgiving is the quintessential holiday where home cooks could use some pointers from the pros, it would be fun to create an entire forum for holiday cooking while giving our members a chance to take home a prize worth talking about.”
Once the top eight recipes are selected on the site through the highest number of votes received by CookEatShare.com visitors, a team of professional and amateur chefs will prepare the winning recipes for an exclusive tasting event and judging panel hosted by Chef Alex Marsh at San Francisco’s popular Brick Restaurant on Tuesday, November 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The tasting and judging will feature a panel including Chef Alex Marsh of Brick and Solstice restaurants, Chef Nate Appleman of A16 and SPRQ, and Chef Jeremy Cheng from Town, along with other members of the Northern California culinary community including chefs from Draeger’s Cooking School and more.
The winners of the recipe contest will not only receive a feature on the homepage of CookEatShare.com, but contest partner KitchenAid has generously donated several high end products including a grand prize KitchenAid® Artisan® Series Stand Mixer with pasta attachments.
