Question Vonage input

Has anyone tried Vonage? I found on their website I can get the residential for about $25 a month and I can get 500 minutes a month to call anywhere in the US. It sounds really good but I want to know if anyone's had any problems with them or do you have any rave reviews? What if I want the internet with it too?

Here's their website if you want to check it out.

We had Vonage for about a year, using our local cable company for internet. We wound up switching back to landline phones, partly because we switched from cable to DSL.

We did have some problems with Vonage; echoing sounds in the line, caller ID difficulties, and a good deal of "ring backs" when we would end a call. Other problems we had were a result of our cable service and reliability issues there.

I loved the fact that you could get your voice mail on the web and also a full call history.

I use Vonage for my work at home business, I have not had any issues with it. I love that fact that it is a low cost call option. I work as a virtual assistant, and the calls come thru my Vonage headset, but I use a software on my computer to pick up an answer the calls.
