Tonight we're having our big Christmas meal since dd1 and her fiance will be traveling to his family's for Christmas day.
Christmas Eve: spiral sliced ham, roasted parsnips/sweet potatoes/carrots/onions, broccoli casserole (same as green bean casserole except with broccoli), corn, cranberry sauce, crescent rolls. Dessert will be eggnog pound cake, cookies, fudge, truffles.
Christmas Day: steak, baked potatoes, salad, foccacia bread.

This year we are having Chili, homemade submarine sandwiches (with all the fixins, lettuce, onion, cucumber, banana peppers, jalapeno slices, green pepper, spinach, cheeses, and I will make copy cat sweet onion sauce, and have horseradish sauce, mustard and mayo to choose from. Potato salad and deviled eggs. I need to be looking at the cookies and cakes I will be making this year too!
