I need Christmas "Decked" Help

My door bell rang by the time I got to the door no one was there but on my porch was a tray of yummy cookies wrapped in Christmas paper with a note that said....You've been "Decked".....Merry Christmas......

Somewhere I read about this a few years ago I think.
Would someone please explain this to me? Now what am I suppose to do? I know this is a neighborhood thing but this is all I remember.....Help Please!!

I've gotten a plate like that and the poem I got with it said I had been" snow balled". The poem says something aboutpassing it on and doing the same to someone else. Usually you do several of your neighbors. It's just a nice way to sneak a little fun into the giving.

That game has many different "names" and yes you are supposed to "carry on" and do the same thing to one of your neighbors! Have fun!
