Christmas Gifts (received and given)

I am just about finished with my journal jars I am giving for Christmas and they are turning out quite nice!!!

I covered the bottom of the jars in dyecut tissuepaper flowers and covered the lid in a matching floral fabric! The jars were bought at Big Lots and I bought some inexpensive, but pretty, journals at Target. I am matching the color of the paper that I am writing the questions on to the color of the journals!
If you have friends who enjoy writing, I think these make a very interesting gift!!

EmilyAnn - I found the directions on their website. I scrolled down to the bottom and clicked on Holiday Organizer, then found the directions there.

They sound very cute!

I thought the idea was great. I've actually used them at a church homegroup meeting to generate discussion, and would like to maybe translate the basic idea to be dinner table conversation starters!

I gave out gift packs....they had my special Baileys Fudge,, Holiday Bark, Gift Jar mixes,, etc........This is what I call from the heart. I made my beautiful marbelized ornaments, also.!!!

We gave our son a workbench, tools and a woodworking project. He is in heaven and cannot believe that he has his "own workshop". We positioned it right outside DH's workshop area so now they can "work" together on their own projects.

We gave out lots of gift certificates this year to family spread far and wide (Pottery Barn was our choice).

I have wanted to collect Fiestaware for probably 20 years, so I got my first four piece set in the color Sunflower--love my sunflowers!

Last night I was so busy with writing all the questions I had thought of that I did not answer them...now tonight I will do that!!!

What I gave:
I gave Mark a book and a Ratpack CD and lots of candy and goodies in his stocking.
Mom: a "Girlfriends" cookbook...I wrote to all her friends and asked for their favorite recipe and a photo and I put these together to make mom a cookbook!
Dad: I made him a creative memories calendar
My brother: a big bucket filled with carwash stuff
My sister: I made her a journal jar
nieces: TOYS!!! and I made them all pencil pouches....
and lots of homemade candy and cookies for everyone!!!

To my girlfriends I made journal jars and Dammit dolls!!

Mark gave me two books I had wanted, 2 CDs...India Arie and Josh Groban and lots of candy in my stocking!
Mom and dad gave me a new set of cooking pans which I needed desperately...I also got a bath set of lotions, bath gel, etc, in orange-ginger scent (my favorite!) and a really cool popcorn maker that you shake and turn over the stove!
Lots of little stocking type stuff too, like Tabu and earings and the like.

I am loving my books and candy!!! I have a humongous sweet tooth!!!!

Who is next to tell what they gave and received for Christmas?
