I just knew you'd love that site!!! I bookmarked it, too. I'd rather wait til closer to the holidays to put those together. I've never done them before, so I thought the site was great, too.

I did do the bath salts, tho, and printed out the label. It looks great!!!!

Gotta run. Leaving in the a.m. on vacation in Tennessee.

Take care,

Katie

Can you believe it? I found even MORE!

Some are recipes repeated but I tried to glance quick and see if there were new recipes. I think they all have at least maybe 1 different recipe among them. You need to look for it! LOL

shelf-life of jar mixes

the jar mixes will keep for awhile. The main problem you get into is if the mixes have nuts in them that the nuts begin to taste old if kept too long. I think you will probably be okay to do them now but I wouldn't won't to keep them much past 6 months if that long.

Okay people...here's the proof. I have no life! LOL

Here are yet more 'In a Jar' sites. Like I said, there are many repeats, but each link should have something new or different.

Question Would like your input!

Sense I have a number of "jar" people gathered, I liked like to ask your input.

I am thinking of making some jar items--cookies, cakes, maybe dinners and bath salts and candles and selling them at local craft shows-nothing big-just little church shows.

How much would you be willing to pay for such items--a standard mason jar size, with a little material top, ribbon etc. and cooking instructions?

I'm afraid to commit to making them in case they would not sell-I don't want to get "rich" just a little profit for my time and effort.

What do you think........
