I had a neighbor that used to put up 2 big trees in their living room before halloween! They had a 14 wide mobile home & you couldn't move in there. One year they left one tree up all year! I would have gone beserk with it up like that.

Mine will go up weekend after Thanksgiving too. No way would I have 2 trees up in one room and none all year long. I put a tiny one on back of toilet, on my buffet in DR and main one in LR but they and other deco's go down by a couple days after New Years. When I was a young girl we kept it up till 6th of Jan.

Theresa, are you really going to put your tree up right after Halloween?

I can't imagine having 2 trees up in one room.

Sammi, thank you. Yes, I will enjoy the holidays much more this year.

I try to get mine up 2 weeks before Christmas, but definitely by the week before. I take my tree down the day after New Years. Mom always said it was to shine in the New Year & hopefully it will be a brighter year. I can't stand it much longer than that LOL.

Ours will probably go up toward the end of the first week of December. I usually get out the decorations before then but after Thanksgiving as I like each holiday to be its own, and that is what my kids are used to...
