I haven't seen any Rescue Heroes clothing at Sears or Target (at least at the stores here). If you have a Toys R Us that has a Kids R Us clothing section inside, try there. The one here had underwear sets (short sleeved shirt and pair of underwear). Maybe you could do a short sleeved RH shirt over a solid color turtleneck or jersey shirt (since you said you needed a long sleeved shirt).

Edible Image

www.sugarcraft.com

Lots of kids themed edible images can be found on this site. Go to Pictures on Cakes and then find edible images. I purchased the RH image and cupcake pokes. Very reasonably priced and quick shipping. I'm not a great cake decorator, but made a 2 layer round cake and put the image on it and bought the hard sugar letters and put Happy Birthday Corbin on it. It turned out very cute! One of my relatives asked, "where did you get the cake made?" She thought it was so cute and looked great! The cake was chocolate with white icing (so the image could be seen). Made white cupcakes with red sprinkles and put poke in each one.

Sometimes if you check with a big bakery, like Wal-Mart or a grocery store they will sell edible images for around $5.00.

RH Party

My sons party turned out to be a big success. As I mentioned in my previous post I made the cake. I also found RH themed decorations on sale 1/2 price at a Factory Card Outlet store. Used my sons RH figures for cake decorations. Also found RH balloons on Ebay for a great price. There was 1 large figure and 2 regular mylars for $6.00. My local flower shop blew them up for $3.00.

Bought plastic fire hats for kids and printed badges off fisherprice.com (RH section) and wrote kids name on each on and taped on hat.

I did not plan on games because the kids were 2 and 3. They played and had a great time! The adults sang karokee.

Sorry I hadn't responded sooner to any of the posts, but for some reason I didn't receive any notification that there had been any posts on this subject from the time I first posted the original thread. Has been doing the same thing for all my posts in other threads also. The box is checked for e-mail notification.... ????
