The Clique: Diss and Make Up for Nintendo DS

WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES

THE CLIQUE: DISS AND MAKE UP

A SOCIAL-ADVENTURE DS GAME BASED ON THE POPULAR BOOK SERIES

BURBANK, Calif. – April 16, 2009 – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will publish The Clique: Diss and Make Up, a new video game based on the best-selling young adult book series by author Lisi Harrison, on Nintendo DS™ in fall 2009. The game promises fans new adventures with several of their favorite characters as they work up the social ladder to join the ultimate clique. “The Clique” book series provides an up-close look at the highs and lows of junior high school life, told by way of an elite group of socially precocious 12-year-old girls from the wealthy suburbs north of New York City.

The Clique: Diss and Make Up, developed by Gorilla Systems, allows fans to play as a new student in school attempting to make friends and increase their popularity in an effort to join the ultimate clique, the Pretty Committee. Players take on a variety of challenges and experience tricky situations as they interact with characters from “The Clique” books and new characters created specially for the game. Players can increase their social standing by playing a variety of mini-games to earn money for the latest clothing and accessories.

“The Clique: Diss and Make Up taps into the recognizable social elements and drama, which have made the books such a big success,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The DS game is something players can take anywhere and have hours of fun going through the different challenges and puzzles the character faces.”

“The Clique” book series has sold more than a million copies in print domestically and its titles have spent more than 135 weeks on theThe New York Times bestseller list. The books are also sold in 13 territories and translated in 11 languages.
