BoxPrint e-book Projects

BoxWorks, an innovative publisher of specialty e-books, announces the official launch of its flaghship "green" imprint-BoxPrints. BoxWork's exciting downloadable BoxPrint e-books let kids, families, teachers, and students build fun and exciting creations, such as a jet airplane or fire engine, using ordinary cardboard boxes, duct tape and other common household items.

The environment has become a significant topic in the past few years, especially with our children. Schools are beginning to focus on it, more and more parents are getting involved in environmental issues, and major corporations are adopting "green" attitudes. BoxWorks, through their new BoxPrint e-book offerings, fuses creativity and learning with a unique recycling strategy-re-use, recycle, repeat.

Encapsulating imaginative play and creativity, BoxWorks' BoxPrint™ Books for family, school, and science fairs challenge kids and martial critical thinking and creativity to build products from ordinary cardboard boxes. Kids are invited to follow directions, explore engineering concepts, and learn geometric principles all under the guise of creating something cool with their bare hands. From jet planes to robot costumes to fire engines, BoxPrint designs are easily customized and personalized, less about the end product and more about the process of building.

BoxPrint books are available from the BoxWorks website . Each BoxPrint e-book features a unique and easy-to-follow series of illustrations that enable readers to build the designs using cardboard they find around the house. The four BoxWorks characters-Boxie, Cutter, Mr. D, and Red A. Lert-appear throughout each book offering helpful tips, historical information, and building advice. BoxPrint e-books are available in a number of categories including Toys, A.S.A.P. (for quick building), Containers (which utilize cardboard like pizza boxes and juice box containers), Fashion, Holiday, and even Science Fair Kits.

Two Examples:

Build a Jet
Have you ever imagined zooming through the clouds at Mach speed, or being in a dogfight with your Jet cutting through the sky? Have you ever imagined being able, with the click of a button, to launch missile after missile at your enemies? We at BoxWorks, with the help of your imagination, are providing you the opportunity to “Build a Jet Plane” with this BoxPrint book. So grab a parent, some tools, a couple of cardboard boxes, and get building…the skies are waiting.
MSRP: $4.00

Make a Halloween Bag
