New Wave Chess & Checkers

New Wave™ Chess & Checkers is the world's lightest, simplest yet most tenacious game board. This 8 ¾” square board is a breakthrough in play on flat surfaces.

Thanks to clever laser-cutting of high-quality corrugated board, flat game pieces stand up with a full 3-D effect. The pieces can't be blown away or shaken out! They move only when you want to move them. And it’s durable. We have inserted a piece into the same spot 1000 times without a problem. Another design innovation turns a checker piece into a king simply by rotating it to show its crown.

New Wave™ Chess & Checkers is highly portable. It can be played indoors, outdoors or on the go. You can actually “frisbee” it back and forth. “Extreme” chess or checkers can even be played during a hurricane!

You can stop the game, travel with it or store it without fear that the position of the pieces will be disturbed. It’s elegant and economical. It’s the smartest way to play.

Available for $12.00

This game would be cool for car travel but I'm not sure how long that it would hold up since the board is cardboard.

It looks cool!

Its seems to be a pretty stiff cardboard, but you do have a point. Only time would tell I guess!

I havent seen this either. Looks neat but I like the regular chess pieces. The 3 D feel I guess!
