What are some of the weird toys your cats like to play with?

My cats are totally weird. My older cat loves to play with plastic Easter eggs. You have to break them in half for him but then he will hit them around like a hockey puck and chase after them. He also sticks his nose into the egg 'cup' and carries it on his nose this way.

My younger cat loves to pick up anything in my dd's room and bring it to me to play fetch. You never know what she will show up with....Barbie shoes, pieces of paper, hair bands...whatever she can pick up.

Tami, Your cat must look so funny with half a plastic Easter egg on his nose, ROFL! My cats like to bat the plastic Easter eggs around too but prefer the medium or tiny size and once it comes apart the game is over. They also liked the jelly bean type but I haven't seen those in stores for a couple of years and their old ones got lost.

One of my cats loves the plastic ring that is below the milk cap! She will run over to you when you get the milk out and "cry" till you give it to her! She plays fetch with it! I now keep a supple of them in a drawer since the milk jugs only have one each! lol
Another one loves the plastic strip ties, all she does is chew on them so I give her the real heavy ones so you doesn't chew it inbto pieces.

Another one loves kleenex boxes; she'll empty all the kleenex out of it and try to climb in it, so she ends up with it stuck on her head! When she was a kitten she slept in the boxes.

How cute she slept in a Kleenex box!

I will try to take a picture of him with the eggs.

I've taken so many pictures of him that now when he even hears me turn on the camera, he will stop doing whatever it is he is doing. If I want to get a picture of him looking at me, he will turn his head and ignore me. I swear, he's worse than any man!! ROFL!!!

Cat Lover, My older cat likes the plastic milk rings too but she only gets to play with them when they first come off because dh picks them up off the floor. She is under the weather right now with either an abscessed tooth or an injury on her face from the other cat. She got an antibiotic shot that lasts two weeks so at least we don't have to try and get pills down her.

We usually find Tiger's stash of milk rings under rugs or chairs! lol Once in awhile there wil be some chewed ones sitting in the open, but only those get thrown away. One time when a friend was here she asked why we had milk rings laying around? lol

Hope your kitty gets well soon! I never thought of a shot instead of the pills, we bought a "pill gun" to give the cats and dogs their pils; so the shot has to be easier!

Thanks for the well wishes. My kitty is doing a little better today but still not totally back to normal. For giving her pills in the past we've tried the hiding in the food, using a straw, etc. but nothing always worked. My cousin gives her cat butter before she gives him his medicine.

My younger cat used to like the leftover edge of a Dr. Scholl's gel insole and carried it all over the house until she lost one of her front teeth and couldn't pick things up as easily.

I am always amazed at what cats decide to "play" with! I always say having cats is like having a house full of two year olds that never seem to grow uo! lol

Last night I had placed some key chain plates I had just bought on a plate till I could carry the downstairs and put them away. Grey Baby jumps up on the table and grabs one and takes off across the room with one hanging in her mouth. She also will do the same thing with my ink pens and pencils when I lay them down . I also can't leave any coins laying around as she will take them too. I have never found some of the things she takes nor found a particular place that maybe she is hiding her "treasures" in! lol

Sounds like a kleptomaniac (sp?) . Maybe she has a secret "bank account" and is saving for her "retirement," lol. Hopefully, she has never swallowed a coin.

Kitzy just likes to push pens and pencils, coins or anything small off the coffee table onto the floor.

I enjoyed reading everyone's stories, and I have one more to share with you all. Many years ago, I had a beautiful Siamese that would "fetch" tampons out of the package! He would climb into my bathroom cabinet, dig one out of the box and bring it to me (or bring it to another family member)! I'm assuming since a tampon is so light and easy to carry, it made it a perfect "fetching" toy! Fortunately, with a house full of women (and one patient father), we all found this to be very funny!
