shocking Another Tater Tot Casserole

I love cooking things that my kids love because I hate to put leftovers in the refridgerator. I changed a casserole a little and the following is what my kids love.

Spray a 9x12" casserole dish with no-stick spray. Put a layer of Tater tots on the bottom of the casserole dish in rows so that they take up all the room. Pour 2 small cans or one large family size can of Cream of Chicken soup over the tater tots coating the tots evenly. Drain two cans of French Cut green beans thoroughly, then add to the top of the Cream of Chicken soup evenly. Heat oven to 450 degrees and cook casserole about 30 minutes. (The only thing that needs to cook is tater tots. Add cheese to the top and slide it back into the oven long enough for the cheese to melt. Serve with garlic bread. **********Note: You can add some type of meat to it on top of the chicken soup. I would recommend chopped up bacon but you can use any left over meat, ham, roast, chicken, that you like best.

Janet's Tater Tot Casserole

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 pkg Tater Tots
Shredded cheese ( Your choice)
Parmesean cheese
1/2 tsp each garlic and onion powders
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large skillet on med-hi heat brown ground beef with garlic and onion powders as well as salt and pepper until browned, drain grease.
Next add both soups undiluted, mix well and allow to simmer 5 minutes so flavors can mingle.
Pour beef mixture into an oven proof 13x9x2 baking dish.
Cover with Taters (in one layer please) and then top with cheeses.
Bake until golden and Taters are cooked through....about 50-60 mins.
