Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

as posted by stellajean66 in WFD 08.06:

Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Get all the great taste of a cheeseburger magically baked in a pie.

1lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2teaspoon salt
1cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/2cup Original Bisquick® mix
1cup milk
2eggs

1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
2 .
In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.
3 .
In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate.
4 .
Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Minny has given a blue ribbon to stellajean66 for this recipe.

Congrates stellajean66! This does sound good and I am going to try it.

Thank you Minny for being a recipe tester and testing this recipe.

Happy face

This was so easy to make. We loved it! The only thing I did different was that I didn't have any cheddar cheese so I used colby cheese instead. I'll make it again with cheddar. We'll be using this one often for a quick night meal.

Thanks for posting this recipe Connie. Thank you Sharon for asking me to be a tester.
