Thumbs up Applesauce Cake

Applesauce Cake

1 yello cake mix
1 2/3 cup applesauce (I used cinnamon applesauce, and I think a chuncky apple sauce would be great)
3 eggs

1/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a bundt or angle food cake pan. Mix cake mix, applesauce and eggs together a 2-3 minutes. Pour half into a prepared pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Pour remaining batter on top and spread around. Bake 35-45 minutes or until done. Cool about half and hour in pan the put on put. I made a simple icing out of powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and put a glaze on top. (Actually my 4 year old did) It was very moist and tasted great. Not bad for ya either!

I used a bunt pan and the plain applesauce not the chunky. Very easy to make and good tasting. We had our's with coffee in the morning. I think applesauce cake would be good with a cup of tea or hot chocolate too.
