Fruity Angel Food Trifle Recipe
Yield: 24 servings
Ingredients
4 cups 2 percent milk
2 pkgs sugar free instant vanilla pudding
1 Angel Food cake - either purchased or home made
1 carton frozen low fat whipped topping, thawed (8 oz.)
1 cup sliced nectarines
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup cherries, stemmed and pitted
1 cup sliced fresh peaches
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes, set aside.
Break up cake into 1 - 2 inch pieces.
Layer bottom of serving bowl with one third of the cake pieces.
Top with one third of the pudding, then whipped topping, then fruit.
Repeat layers twice.
Cover and chill for 2 - 3 hours before serving.
