Twinkie Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. milk
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 stick magarine
1/2 c. crisco
1 tsp. vanilla

* Bake the cake mix as directed. Serves 16.

For filling: Cook milk & flour together, stirring constantly, until thick. Set aside to cool.

Combine sugar, margarine & crisco ( at room temperature ) & vanilla. Mix at high speed until sugar is disolved. Add flour mixture. Beat at high speed until creamy & thick, approx. 8-10 mins. Split cooled cake & apply filling. Add top to cake.

*Better if not refrigerated.

*If you want a Susie Q cake, use a chocolate cake mix.
