Anyone want to make a good tasting dessert that looks great but you don't have alot of time to spend on preparation and baking?
Here's a superfast cake that everyone will love!
Punchbowl Cake
1 Large Angel Food Cake
3 Boxes Vanilla Instant Pudding
1 (8oz) Bowl Cool Whip
2 Cans Cherry Pie Filling (You can substitute fruit of your choice)
1 Punchbowl or Large Clear Bowl
Tear the cake into small pieces. Make pudding as directed on box. Add 1/2 of the Cool Whip into the pudding, mix well.
Begin layering the punchbowl starting with pieces of angelfood cake, then pour a layer of pudding/coolwhip mixture, then a layer of cherry pie filling. Repeat the layering steps until the cake, fruit and pudding mixture is used. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top and pour a small amount of cherry filling to top it off.
Chill and serve
