I am looking for a receipe?

Can anyone help me out, I am looking for a receipe for Sock It To Me Cake. Any of you southern ladies out there that can share an old family secret??? Your northern friend would be very appreciative!

Sarah-

I've heard that title before... what are some of the ingredients, do you know?

I'll try looking in my cookbook collection when I get home... I know I have one cookbook called "A taste of Georgia" it might possibly be in there.

Sock It To Me Cake Recipe

Sarah-

I found it in my Columbus Dispatch Cookbook. Here it is:

SOCK IT TO ME CAKE

In a large mixer bowl, blend the cake mix, sour cream oil, granulated sugar, water and eggs. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased, and floured Bundt pan.

Combine the nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter in the pan. Spread remaining batter evenly over filling mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool cake right side up for about 30 minutes, then remove from pan. If desired, drizzle a confectioners sugar icing over the cake when it is cool.

1 pkg. (2 layer size) butter flavor cake mix
1 cup sour cream
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup water
4 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Confectioners sugar icing, optional
