Rolls
2 cups scaled milk
1/2 cup water
1 cube butter
1 cup mashed potatoes (instant works)

Heat the milk and add the butter and potatoes and let it sit until the butter melts.

7 or 8 cups flour
2 Tbls yeast (rapid rise)
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbl salt

Mix 1/2 of the sugar, flour, yeast and salt together. Pour in the hot mixture and mix well. Mix in 2 large eggs. Add remaining flour by cupfuls and mix well. You may not need to add the 8th cup of flour. Knead for 5 minutes. Place dough in large greased or oiled bowl. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Roll out. Cut with cookie cutter and dip half in melted butter and fold over. Let rise again until they have doubled again and bake at 375 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
