Sure, here's the recipe this 56 yr old lady taught me

in Tennessee. She was from W. Viriginia.

Buttermilk Biscuits:

Recipe can be found at: http://www.familycorner.com/forums/s...133#post101133

Here's the pancake recipe too. I gave this one to my sister whose 3 yr old daughter eats pancakes like a grown man! She makes them every weekend. I make them almost every Sunday.

Hi Leasmom
They sound delicious, and will try both of them out.
Thanks so much.

I've made bread for many years, all kinds, from english muffins to 9 grain . It doesn't last long around here, Dh starts eating it as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Amanda do you have a mixer with the dough hook? Becasue of spurs on my shoulders now I can't knead bread,so I use my kitchen aid mixer to do the whole process. It comes out great.

I use a bread machine to make the dough and then bake it in the oven. Occasionally, I will bake a loaf in the bread machine if I'm going to use it for croutons or stuffing or bread crumbs but usually I don't.
