Potato Bread
Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf
1 1/4 cups +2 tbsp. water (80 degrees)
2 tbsp butter OR margarine
3 1/4 cups bread flour
1/2 cup instant potato flakes
2 tbsp dry powdered milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp bread machine/fast rise yeast OR active dry yeast
I use the basic setting on my West Bend bread machine. Add the above ingredients according to the order instructed for your particular bread machine.
Another thing you can do with this recipe is to save your liquid from cooking potatoes to replace the water in this recipe for added flavor!
