Looking for "Little House on the Prairie" books
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not, so if I'm doing this wrong someone Please tell me.My dd likes to read "Little House on the Prairie " books & is willing to trade something for them. What would you be interested in trading for?

Tara, you can try posting on "freecycle" too. Our group only accepts "Wanteds" on Wednesday's though. I can tell you how to do it if you'd like or remind me on Wed and I'll do it for you.

Clarification Note
Coll meant her local Freecycle Group, not this forum... just wanted to make sure everyone reading this knew you can post a request here any day of the week.

Tara, another place you could check is a library used book sale. Also, Scholastic often sells them as a boxed set just before Christmas at a fantastic price. That's how I got the set for my DD.

Thanks for the idea Barbszy. My dh actually brings those book orders home from school. I never even thought to check our library to see if they have used book sells. I'll have to call them, good idea!
Donna, I sent you a PM. I would be interested in them all. My dd is so into "Little House" right now that I'm interested in whatever I find for her. She reads, reads, & reads. Also, she watches it on TV but I have to tape it for her because it's on at like 6am. So, she watches it when she gets home from school.
Her school field trip was to a place called "Compass Inn" & she loved it because it was like life on the prairie.
I'm so proud of her,she just got a "Principal's Award" for earning the highest score in the 4th grade on the Performance Series Reading Assessment.

Sorry Coll, I forgot to tell you about her award!!!! Too much going on & Yes, she takes after you & mom in that department because I don't do much reading other than my magazines. I'm very proud of her too! Her reading is what makes her so smart! I hope she continues as she gets older! The love she has for it now & the encouragement I give her I'm sure she will.
