How about if we post 5 to 10 books we'd like to swap and tell what kind we'd like to receive?

I have way to many tolist, but if you give me an idea ie. fiction, westerns, self help etc. I will list those specifically.

I like science fiction and fantasy and horror. But I read much more than that.

Anyone have any paper backs by Phillip Gulley, The Harmony series? If so I will see what I can find for you.

Try playing some of the games or quizzes. Most are easy and only take a few seconds to reply to. You will get your post count up before you know it.

Also, Melanie it looks like you have 91 posts, not 81 so you are almost to 100!

This book swap sounds like a great idea but I am not clear on how we will know what we have for trade. Did we decide to PM that info or are we going to post it here?

Okay, I misunderstood and sent a PM to somebody and forgot who it was. Anway, I have several non-fiction Christian books such as Love is a Choice, Safe People, A Woman's Guide to Spiritual Warfare, and others in that category. Also, have several older ones by Corrie Ten Boom and some with poems such as one by Helen Steiner Rice and other poetry books.

I lent my copy of "Boundaries" by Townsend to a coworker who liked it so much that she thinks she might read it again and asked where she could buy a copy. If anyone has one that they are willing to exchange for something I have, it would be great. I read "The Cat Who Smelled a Rat" by Lillian Jackson Braun" and am looking for more of hers with the cat theme. I also like some of the Chicken Soup books and books with just very short stories like "All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, (which I have and want to keep for now.) I don't care for romance novels or John Grisham or Stephen King. Someone gave me the book "The Painted House" by Grisham, which is more of a biography on his childhood than his usual courtroom drama. I did read it but would be willing to trade that for something else too. I also like biographies, depending on who it is.

I'm still not real clear on how this works and didn't list every title since it would be too long of a message. Anyway, PM me if anything sounds interesting or if you just want more info.

Here are my 5 books I would like to trade:

1)Linda Howard/Allison Leigh--On His Terms (paperback book containing two books)

2)Betty Neels--A Betty Neels Christmas (pb book containing two holiday romances)

3)Janet Evanovich--the Rocky Road to Romance (pb)
4) --Metro Girl (hard cover)

5)June Johnson--A Treasury of Tips to Amuse a Child--838 Games, Projects and Crafts (hard cover)

I love contempory romance books and murder mystery (suspense). I like Julie Garwood, Jayne Ann Krentz, Nora Roberts and Linda Howard. There are too many to name.

Ok I have 4 books to swap. I have:
The Gift by Max Lucado
Smart Women keep it Simple by Annie Chapman
She who laughs lasts! by "Women of Faith"
Lightposts for Living by Thomas Kinkade
The first 2 are paperback the last 2 are hardback.
I would love to trade for any Dee Henderson, Terry Blackstock, or any other Christian romance or fiction

Frugal Reader

I just found the coolest website. It is called www.frugalreader.com
You list all the books you have to trade and then you can browse through their lists of books to see if there are any you want. All trades are free. All books are sent media postage. You have to list a min. of 2 books before you are allowed to request any.
