About the Authors:
Kerry Arquette is a freelance writer and book creator. Her writing has appeared in dozens of national magazines including Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, and Ladies Home Journal. She has authored more than a dozen books, including her award-winning children’s picture book, What Did You Do Today?. Arquette was previously the Executive Editor of Books for Memory Makers, an imprint of F+W Publishing specializing in scrapbooking and paper crafts.
Andrea Zocchi is the author of numerous books and designer of scores more. Zocchi has a longtime love of publishing. He has been a graphic designer, freelance photographer, and has spent time as the art director at a large design and how-to book and magazine publisher. He studied art, photography, and design at the Massachusetts College of Art, School of Visual Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, and Knox College.
Jerry Vigil, a self-taught Chicano artist, has been carving bultos and retablos since 1998. Known in his hometown of Denver as the “Dean of the Dead,” he is a high-profile art activist, instructor, and artist whose Day of the Dead work has appeared in dozens of local and national exhibits and competitions and in numerous publications.
