Vicky, I'm doing much better after my cancer treatment. I still have some pain but the doctor said that it takes a long time to heal after the radiation treatment.

Roberta, I've read a couple of Beverly Lewis books and enjoyed them. Our library has a lot of hers. I need to take time to make a trip to the library again.

I just finished reading a couple of Robyn Carr's books.

Any Day Now & What We Find. Both books are from the Sullivan's Crossing series and situated in Colorado.

Robyn Carr's What We Find transports readers back to Sullivan's Crossing. The rustic campground at the crossroads of the Colorado and Continental Divide trails welcomes everyone -- whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway or a whole new lease on life. It's a wonderful place where good people face their challenges with humor, strength and love.

For Sierra Jones, Sullivan's Crossing is meant to be a brief stopover. She's put her troubled past behind her but the path forward isn't yet clear. A visit with her big brother Cal and his new bride, Maggie, seems to be the best option to help her get back on her feet.

Not wanting to burden or depend on anyone, Sierra is surprised to find the Crossing offers so much more than a place to rest her head. Cal and Maggie welcome her into their busy lives and she quickly finds herself bonding with Sully, the quirky campground owner who is the father figure she's always wanted. But when her past catches up with her, it's a special man and an adorable puppy who give her the strength to face the truth and fight for a brighter future. In Sullivan's Crossing Sierra learns to cherish the family you are given and the family you choose.

I also just finished reading " Crime & Poetry" the first in a new series; A magical Bookshop mystery series by Amanda Flower who writes under Isabella Alan. Who writes the Amish Quilt Shop Mysteries.

Crime & Poetry--

Just outside Niagara Falls sits the village of Cascade Springs, New York. The home of a magical bookstore where one young women, her feisty grandmother and a curious tuxedo cat team up to keep crime between the pages....

Rushing home to sit by her ailing grandmother's bedside, Violet Waverly is shocked to find Grandmother Daisy the picture of health. Violet doesn't need to read between the lines: Her grandma wants Violet back home and working in her magical store, Charming Books. It's where the perfect book tends to fly off the shelf and picks you....

Violet has every intention of hightailing it back to Chicago, but then a dead man is discovered clutching a volume of Emily Dickinson's poems from Grandma Daisy's shop. The victim is Benedict Raisin, who recently put Grandma Daisy in his will, making her a prime suspect. Now, with the help of a tuxedo cat named Emerson, Violet will have to find a killer to keep Grandma from getting booked for good.....

I liked this book for the adventure and mystery qualities.

Hello

I just finished reading Sherryl Woods "Wind Chime Point". I had previously read "Sea Glass Island by her and enjoyed reading it. So, wanted to read the first book also.

Wind Chime Point: Facing a personal crisis, ambitious and driven Gabrielle Castle retreats to the welcoming arms of her family. Everything she's worked for has been yanked out from under her, and she seeks the serenity of her grandmother's home on the North Carolina coast. With difficult decisions to make about her future, the last thing she wants is an unexpected love.

Wade Johnson fell for Gabi the first time he saw her. It's not the only time he's found himself in the role of knight in shining armor, but Gabi isn't looking for a rescuer. To get her to stay, Wade will need a whole lot of patience and gentle persuasion...and maybe the soothing sound of wind chimes on a summer breeze. Will she find what she's looking for?......................read this book to find out.
