Hot & Spicy Szechwan CHicken

    Hot & Spicy Szechwan Chicken

    1 pkg.Hot & Spicy Szechwan oriental seasoning mix (.75 oz)
    3/4 lb. chicken breast, skinless, boneless cut into strips
    1 tsp sugar
    3 tbsp soy sauce
    1/4 cup water
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 red or green bell pepper, sliced
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 can (8 oz) bamboo shoots, drained

    Combine seasoning mix, sugar, soy suace, and water and blend and set aside. In a large wok or skillet herat oil and add chciken and stir fry till browned. Add onion, carrots, and bell pepper and stir fry. Add mushrooms and bamboo shoots and stir fry. Add seasoning mix and stir fry 1 minute or till thickened. Makes 5 1 cup servings

    If you want it hotter you can add crushed red chilies to taste.
