Tuppeware

In one of the malls in Louisville, KY I have discovered a Tupperware Store! It seems a person selling tupperware rents space there and you can go in on weekends (only time it is open) and buy your Tupperware! I thought it was a neat idea because so many people just don't have time to have those "home parties" any longer. How do you buy your tupperware and have you seen anything like this where you live?

I haven't seen a Tupperware store, but I have seen an Avon store. Actually, what I've seen are Avon stores run by Avon themselves, and an Avon kiosk, which is one of those karts or booths in the middle of the aisles of a mall, that was run by an Avon lady.

When I do buy tupperware, it's usually online from their website or ebay. My neighbor is having a party so I'll be going to that.

Hmm, never thought that maybe it is run by Tupperware, but it is only open on weekends so that is why I think it must be an individuaL doing it. Since we don't get to the city on weekends where it is I haven't been able to go in it......yet!

I haven't been to a Tupperware party in years, do they still have the little give aways?

I haven't seen any stores around here and come to think of it, I don't know of anyone selling it, either. The last time I looked through one of their books I remember thinking OMG, the prices were high!

I have some "treasured" speciality pieces, but I haven't bought any from a Tupperware dealer for quite a long time myself. One reason is I don't know anyone either that is selling it, the store is only open when I'm not in town, and like you said the prices!!! I do pick up several pieces at thrift stores and most of those are still in their new plastic bags! I have used rubbermaid for years when I needed something new because the price was right. Lately I have been using more glass containers. There I go back in time again! lol

Not so much back in time...right on time while recycling!

I use Rubbermaid products a lot, too.
