Keeping Strawberries Fresh Twice As Long

To ensure the strawberries stay fresh and mold free for up to two weeks, store them uncut and unwashed in clean glass jars in the refrigerator. This airtight environment slows down respiration, which is what makes berries go bad so quickly. Wash and hull the strawberries before eating.

Super duper tip, Sueanne!

Over the years I have learned to only buy strawberries if I'm 100% certain they'll be put to good use the same day in which I buy them, otherwise, I don't buy them, because on too many occasions they've gone to waste.

Can't wait to try this nifty trick!
